STAR PERFORMANCES OF ENSEMBLE (" Arguments and facts in the North ", № 5, January 2002 )

Performances of young violinists from the High school of music of SR (Ya) during winter vacation have passed with big success in both capitals. It is possible to tell, that this year has come an hour of triumph for ensemble. The victory and diploma of the I degree at the international festival " Sounds and paints of the world " in Saint Petersburg have finished this triumphal trip. The authoritative jury, consisting of the Italian, British, Polish and Russian musicians, clapped to young yakut musicians and even before ending of competitive listenings unconditionally awarded the first place to the ensemble of young musicians from Yakutia. It was an unprecedented case in the history of the festival, that was spent in different countries. 11 concerts in Moscow and 5 in Saint Petersburg - leading musical collectives of the country can envy such engagement. For the first time the ensemble participated at the grandiose festival " Christmas in the Big Theatre" with patriarch Aleksy 2. Among visitors were members of the government, deputies of the State Duma, stars of the Russian art. Participating in the scenic action " Praise to the saint virgin ", the ensemble has performed " Ava Maria ", Shubert. The resonance was so great, that young violinists were invited for participation in a concert in honour of patriarch Aleksy 2 in February in Moscow. Due to the great skill the ensemble " cut through a window " into All-Russia channels of TV. Invitations to the first Russian channel and TVC, shootings in programmes "Good morning" and "Steps" are of much cost. The concert in a musical hall of the fund " New names " was shot by the channel " Culture ". On December, 30 ensemble has opened by its performance the benefit performance of the people's artist of the USSR Edward Grach in the Big hall of the Moscow conservatory. On December, 31 in the same hall young violinists played with support of the best chamber orchestra of the country "Moscowia" under the direction of Edward Grach two plays. The sold out notice and warm reception spoke about recognition of yakut talent. It is known, that the violin by its sounding is similar to human voice, but very difficultly can be recorded by modern means of sound recording and microphonic amplification. But how good the violin is in the halls, perfect by acoustic parameters! Harmony, divine sounding and masterly technique in a fine hall of the Armory Museum of the Kremlin promoted the big success of the ensemble finishing the concert of winners of the international competitions by performance of five plays. Young musicians from Yakutia were invited to participate at once in two international projects. The ensemble met New year in the concert hall "Russia" with the petroleum company " YUKOS ", the main sponsor of the trip. As a token of gratitude for magnificent performances the management of the company has handed the certificate about granting of the participants of the ensemble by "YUKOS". In Saint Petersburg musicians successfully participated at the international festival " Christmas musical meetings in Northern Palmira ". After that a concert at the musical school of the Saint Petersburg conservatory was held. The children's audience spontaneously reacted to performance of the contemporaries. It is possible to tell, that the creative report of the graduate of the Leningrad musical school of 1973, the head of ensemble of the violinists, deserved artist of SR (Ya) Larisa Gabysheva has passed on " five with plus ". Preparing to new meetings with muscovites and petersburgers, the ensemble plans to let out the second compact disc with the new program " Hot strings of the North ".

19 и 25 декабря в здании Академического драматического Саха театра состоялся творческий вечер - презентация компакт-диска Ансамбля скрипачей Высшей школы музыки РС(Я). Вечер назван красиво - "Гимн 21 веку" и посвящен 10- летию суверенитету республики Саха(Якутия) и завершению Года детства.

В рамках программы вечера состоялся попечительский аукцион, на котором был выставлен единственный лот - комплект из серебряной памятной медали Ансамбля скрипачей и "золотого" компакт- диска, с начальной стоимостью 3 тыс. рублей. Борьба за уникальную медаль шла в основном между двумя почитателями Ансамбля. В итоге была заявлена цена в 31 тыс. руб.

В этот вечер состоялась еще одна приятная церемония - чествование руководителя Ансамбля Афанасенко С.М. по случаю присвоения ему почетного звания "Заслуженный деятель искусств РС(Я)". Много теплых слов было высказано в адрес руководителей этого замечательного музыкального коллектива. Среди поздравляющих - официальные лица (Н. Зайкова, зам. министра культуры), видные деятели науки и искусства (Г. Крымский, пред. Президиума ЯНЦ, доктор ф.-м. наук, А.Николаев, пред. Союза театральных деятелей, директор Сахатеатра им. П.Ойунского), родители учащихся и многие другие.

July, 2000 - The ensemble of the violinists of Yakutia made their first compact disk. This disk was the first in a history of the Yakut classical instrumental art.

The record is made by Zhumakanov in the Yakut Studio "Solli Tutti".

The disk is issued by the Moscow firm "Sound" in number of 1000 CDs. Duration of CD is 50 minutes.

September 27, 2000 - The Violinists Ensemble of Yakutia took active part in celebrations devoted 10th anniversary of the sovereignty of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) by performing on solemn session of government and in the large concert of the foremen of arts.
