Violinists ensemble of the Sakha Republic's(Yakutia) High School of music is a laureate of four international festivals - contests, laureate of international children fund "Children of Sakha-Asia", grant-aided ensemble of the national fund of revival "Bargary" become more and more popular in Russia as elsewhere, reaching one creative peak after another. The ensemble performed in France, England, Austria, Portugal, Italy, Ukraine.

In 1998 ensemble become a winner of the Mravinsky international contest festival in S.-Petersburg, and in 1999 participated in concert of winners of preceding years.

Beginning with 1996 ensemble gives concerts in Moscow annually: TV program "Morning Star"; presentation of "New Names" program in the Pushkin museum; the Chaikovsky concert hall; Russian Fund of Culture.

In Salzburg the ensemble had 2 concerts near the house where Mozart was born and at his monument, whereupon children were started to be called "10 little Mozarts".

High skill of playing violin provided us with ample opportunity to hold the Ist and II nd International competition of Youth "Violin of the North" at Hign school of music (1997, 2002).

More than 80 participants from USA, China, South Korea, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and also from Moscow, St.-Petersburg and 15 regions of Russia took part in it.

8 participants of the ensemble became laureates and 2 became diploma-winners of that contests. And this is not their only achievement. You can see their names among the winners of the Open Contest of Young Violinists of Siberia in Novosibirsk and of the Ist All-Russian Contest "New Names' in Moscov, and International competition in Cremona (Italy).

In 2000 ensemble participated in prestigious music festival "Music weeks of Tur", and won the 1st prize and laureate title.

In the same year ensemble released its first compact-disc, which was the first compact-disc in the history of yakut classical instrumental art.

Judging by deafening success, performance of violinists ensemble of college of music in the best concert halls of Moscow and S.-Petersburg, held during winter holidays in 2001, can be regarded as a real benefit performance for the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

An interest to young musicians, already showed themselves in Russia and abroad, was huge. Five solo concerts and performance in great hall of conservatory on a final concert of "Milleniums parade" festival, conducted by committee of 3rd millenium greeting, affiliated to the President of the RF V.Putin, and simultaneously on a benefit performance of national artist of the USSR E.Grach, were invariably held with full house.

4 concerts of the ensemdle organized by International Children Fund "Children of Sakha-Asia" and "De Beers Company" were given in London and Carlisle (England) with great success. The mayors of London, Epson and Carlisle received the children and enthusiastic youth followed and associated with the children during the day.

In December-January 2001-02 the ensemble had a month tour to Moscow and St.-Petersburg with their new solo program "Hot Strings of the North". They had 16 concerts in such halls like the Concert Hall "Russia", Big Hall of Moscow Conservatoire, Big Theatre, Armory of Kremlin, Small Hall St.Petersburg Philharmonic Society etc; there were also performances in the Embassies of India, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia. The ensemble gain a victory and laureate title in IInd International festival "Sounds and Colors of the World", participated in International festival "Christmas Music Meetings in Northern Palmira" with 2 solo concerts. They took part in TV shootings in 3 programs on central TV: "Good Morning", "Steps", "I am a Mother". More than 8 thousand spectators opened for themselves high skills of young Yakutians and appreciated their skills at their true value.

The participation of the violin ensemble became a real decoration of Days of Culture and Art of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) in Novosibirsk and Khabarovsk in April - May, as well as in Moscow and St. Petersburg in November - December 2002, where the ensemble gave 25 concerts, very of ten the audience applauded the ensemdle's skill upright.

At the end of May, 2003, Violinists Ensemble "Virtuosos of Yakutia" was only one music collective from regions of Russia who represented their skill at the Celebration of the 300 anniversary in Sankt-Petersburg

10 concerts, which given in Sankt-Petersburg, in throne - room of the Palace of Queen Katharine, Square of arts, opening of Fountains in Petergof, opening of the castle in Mikhailovskoe, opening of exhibition "The 300 anniversary of Sankt-Petersburg" etc. had a great success, 4 times were shown on central TV and in Sankt-Petersburg's channel on TV and received the letter of thanks to the President of the Sakha Republic's (Yakutia) V.Shtyrov.

In july 2003 the Ensemble of violinists took part in Festival of operatic art in honour of Fyodor Shalyapin. A great success of Violinists Ensemble was written in Russian mass media: "The Spirit of Festival is the Violinists Ensemble "Virtuosos of Yakutia" of high school of music. For some time past it is a visiting - card of Yakutia in Russia and abroad. More than 30 virtuoso musical compositions have trey in repertoire, 2 CD-S, and trey are welcome visitors to all festivals. Guest of Honour of the 3-rd Festival in honour of Fyodor Shalyapin' the count Pyotr Petrovich Sheremetev' the chairman (President) of Russian Music Society in France' the Rector Conservatory in Paris (was founded by Fyodor Shalyapin in 1923) applauded to the Northern representatives and announced that he would take them to Paris".

"Izvestiya", newspaper, № 119, july 9 2003. According to the programme of the international festival and master-courses the Ensemble gave three solo concerts in Portugal (Kashkay, Lisbon) (2003). Its 10th anniversary (when 6-8year old kids took violins in their hands for the first time) the Ensemble celebrated by the creative tour to Moscow, Saint-Petersbugh in January 2004. Two solo concerts in the Big Hall of the Moscow International House of Music (by the invitation of the mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov) and in the P.I.Chaykovsky Concert hall; with the orchestra "Moscovia" in the Bolshoy and Maly Halls of Moscow State Conservatory, solo concerts in Saint-Petersburgh crowned with dignity the period of formation of the professional collective.

More than 10 mass medias and 3 TV-channels illuminated our jubilee concerts and the World Radio "Voice of Russia" broadcasted to more then 160 countries the 47 minutes long radiocast in English about the Ensemble of violinists. "And there was a moan in the halls and Moscow public boiled..." at the concerts of the Ensemble.

In July 2004 the Ensemble won Grand-Prize at the international music festival in the homeland of the great Italian masters in Cremone (Italy) and performed with four solo concerts.

Minister of Culture of Russian Federation Sokolov A.S., being in Yakutsk heard the performance of the Ensemble and said: "The Ensemble of violinists "Virtuosos of Yakutia" can be included into any decade of Russian Art abroad even now".
