On behalf of all people of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)I bid hearty welcome to you here, on our ancient Olonho Land.
We set a high value on development of physical training and sport among children, being one of the most important component
of social policy of our Republic. This is what gave us an impetus to hold the International Sports Games "Children of Asia".
The Games "Children of Asia" of 1996 and 2000 years expressed effective cooldown of various states in development of
children's sports and new level of foreign relations. Today this tradition is being continued.
People of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are rightfully proud of the Olympians whose achievements reflected glory on
Yakutia - Roman Dmitriev, Pinigin Pavel, Alexander Ivanov. Nowadays we are gratified by success of young Yakut sportsmen
experienced by The Games "Children of Asia". Four Yakut sportsmen gained the right to participate in the Olympic Games of
2004, Athens.
The International Sports Games "Children of Asia" held under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee will
become another solid sign of our time, another impulse to promote the Olympism among children and youth. For all young
participants this will be a great opportunity not only to show a high level of exellence, and genius of a future Olympian
but to make friends, know many interesting facts about the culture, customs and traditions of different countries.
Dear friends! Let the atmosphere of our Games be full of friendship, confidence and mutual understanding! The III
International Sports Games "Children of Asia" will become a high event, and many participants being the stars of the world
sport will gain the most prestigious awards of the planet. Let the warmth of meetings of the International Sports Games
"Children of Asia" arouse the best memories about our hospitable land.
